We support and promote knowledge transfer from research, standardization, and approval procedures to training and application, including through participation in events.
Members, together with their partners, also participate in organizing regular events for specific target groups, representing the field of hydrogen safety from a German perspective.
The “VDI Hydrogen Conference 2026” brings together experts from various fields to discuss the challenges and progress made in addressing hydrogen safety. The focus will be on materials, measurement technology and sensor systems, explosion protection, standards, and integration into the processes of production, transport, storage and use. Members of NAWS will contribute through presentations and as part of the conference organising committee.
ICHS is a biennial event organised by HySafe, which serves as the leading platform for the exchange of knowledge on hydrogen safety. It has been held since 2005. NAWS members will be represented through papers, as session chairs and on the Scientific Committee.
